> How fortrabbit measures the web storage, the traffic and the static requests of an environment, and how to read each chart.

## Web storage

The disk space the environment uses. A sample holds the size at that moment. A bar shows four values from its samples:

- max: the largest size of the hour or day
- last: the size at the end of the hour or day
- avg: the average size
- min: the smallest size

A last well below the max of the same day means the size dropped during that day, for example after a cleanup. The lines mark the sizes of the storage plans. See [why storage grows](/platform/components/storage#why-storage-grows).

## Traffic

Bytes sent to and received from visitors. A sample holds the bytes since the sample before, a bar is the sum of its samples. In the box, the sum covers the whole time frame and max is the busiest hour or day. See [why traffic grows](/platform/components/traffic#why-traffic-grows).

## Static requests

Requests answered from a file without PHP, such as images, CSS, JavaScript and fonts. They are counted like traffic: one bar is the sum of its samples. See [page weight](/dev/performance/page-weight#find-the-weight).

## Labels and lines

The values each metric shows in one bar, for the time frame, and on the summary page, and the lines drawn across the chart:
