Watch the numbers move.
Each environment has a metrics tab in the dashboard. It graphs storage, traffic, MySQL, PHP, jobs, and HTTP errors over time, so a slow or growing environment shows up before visitors notice.
About metrics
Metrics are measured on the platform, outside the app. No code, agent, or extension is needed. Values are sampled every five minutes and grouped into bars.
Time frame and resolution
The time frame sets the range and what one bar stands for. Times are UTC.

Reading the charts
Counts and sizes, such as requests, traffic, or storage, show as stacked bars. A bar holds the total of its hour or day.
Measurements spread over many samples, such as PHP response time and memory, show as layered bars: the lowest value, the mean measure, and the highest value. The mean measure is the 99th percentile by default, the value 99% of samples stay below. It ignores rare outliers, but still shows slow requests that happen regularly. Switch it to the median or the average in the options.
Horizontal lines mark plan sizes or thresholds. The figures next to the chart summarize the whole time frame. Request and error metrics add a table that names the URLs behind the numbers.

Error counts cover PHP and static files alike. MySQL metrics appear with the MySQL component, jobs metrics with the Jobs component.
Metrics, logs, and APM
Metrics show that something changed, and when. Logs show the single request behind it. An APM tool traces a request through the code. Start with the metric, narrow the time frame, then read the logs for that window.
